Awareness is Being Raised in the Fight Against Addiction at Gölhisar MYO

Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Gölhisar Vocational School, for the purpose of student safety and awareness, the Narcotics teams of the Police Department visited the classrooms in our school building one by one and provided comprehensive information to students about the harms of substance addiction, ways of protection, and legal dimensions.
 

With the "Narko-Rehber Youth Module" Conscious Youth In the presentations made, the contents prepared within the scope of the Ministry of Interior's "Narko-Rehber Youth Module" were shared with the students. In the presentations made by police officers; the physical and social effects of substance use, the importance of peer groups, and the ability to say no were emphasized.
 

"UYUMA" Application Introduced
In the trainings, detailed information was also provided about the "UYUMA" (Drug Fighting Application), which enables citizens to make their reports quickly and safely in the fight against drugs. It was explained how students can report when they witness a crime by downloading this application to their phones.
 

The trainings, which attracted great interest from the students, ended with a question-and-answer session. 
The vocational school administration stated that such awareness activities will continue for a safe educational environment.
