A seminar on "International Mountain Day" is being organized under the coordination of Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Neslihan DAL.

As part of the "International Mountain Day," the international online seminar organized in collaboration with the International Geographical Union (IGU) Commission on Mountain Studies (CMS) and the Commission on Biogeography and Biodiversity (CBB) will be held today.
 

This important organization has been organized by Dr. Lecturer Neslihan DAL, one of the faculty members of our University's Department of Architecture and Urban Planning, Land Registry and Cadastre Program, who serves as the Secretary of the IGU Mountain Studies Commission.
 

The seminar, which has gained global visibility by being included in the official event list of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), aims to emphasize the vital importance of mountains on ecosystems, water resources, and communities. Topics that will raise awareness about the sustainable development of mountainous areas will be addressed by international speakers who are experts in their fields.
