Impressive Presentation on Spatial Thinking in the Microcredential Course

As part of the Microcredential Course – Spatial Thinking Skills conducted at Gölhisar Vocational School, Deniz Tosun, Vice Principal and Geography Teacher at Gölhisar Mehmet Akif Ersoy Anatolian High School, met with the students as a sector representative. Tosun, who conducted a highly productive session for the students attending the course, emphasized the importance of spatial thinking skills in the professional field and shared comprehensive information aimed at developing the students' perspectives.
Deniz Tosun stated that spatial perception plays a critical role in a wide range of areas, from mapping processes to geographical analyses, from daily life to professional applications, and touched upon the following topics:
Fundamental components of spatial thinking
The place of spatial perception in geographic information systems
Skills in establishing relationships, interpreting, and analyzing on maps
How students can effectively use this skill in their professional life
The session, which progressed with the active participation of the students, saw great interest in Tosun's contributions.
At the end of the course, Course Coordinator Lecturer Murat Koçak thanked Deniz Tosun for his valuable contributions and expressed their satisfaction for the support provided to the students' professional development.
