The Commercial UAV-1 Pilot Certificate Program Successfully Completed at Gölhisar MYO

The Commercial UAV-1 Pilot Certificate Program organized by Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Burdur Development Center (MAKÜ-BGM) was successfully held on November 15–16 and 22–23, 2025, at Gölhisar Vocational School.

In the program, which included a total of 36 hours of theory and practice, participants gained comprehensive knowledge on topics such as air law, flight principles, meteorology, technical maintenance, flight safety, and emergency management. In practical flight training, trainees had the opportunity to experience real flight scenarios under the guidance of expert instructors.

Participants who successfully completed the evaluations at the end of the training were entitled to receive their Commercial UAV-1 Pilot Certificates.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Utlu was thanked for his contributions, expertise, and dedicated efforts in conducting the program's training. Participants expressed their satisfaction with the quality of education and the opportunities for practice provided.

Officials from MAKÜ-BGM and Gölhisar MYO stated that technology and innovation-focused training would continue in the region.
