Social Contribution and Cooperation in Gölhisar: Met with Conference and Exhibition

Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Wildlife Conservation, Rehabilitation Application and Research Center, Gölhisar Vocational School, Gölhisar Aliya İzzetbegoviç Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, and Gölhisar Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School in collaboration with the visual arts, science and sports hour event included in the year-end activity week plan on Monday, June 10, 2024, at 11:00 am, a conference and exhibition on "Biodiversity in Gölhisar" was held.

Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Wildlife Conservation, Rehabilitation Application and Research Center Director and Gölhisar Vocational School Forestry Department Faculty Member Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Yasemin ÖZDEMİR stated that Turkey has rich biodiversity due to hosting three different biogeographic regions, and this diversity is of great importance for the conservation of endemic plant and animal species. Then, the machinery and equipment used in determining species diversity were introduced practically.

In the second part of the program, the second of the exhibition "Different Faces of Nature" consisting of ÖZDEMİR's photographs and biological illustrations was organized. In the exhibition visited by Gölhisar Vocational School and Gölhisar Aliya İzzetbegoviç Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, Gölhisar Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School students and teachers, the questions directed by the students were answered.
