Scientific Event by Our College Faculty Member from TÜBİTAK

The scientific event named “Calculation and Mapping of Land Diversity with Entropy-Based Algorithms” supported by the TÜBİTAK 2237-A Scientific Education Activities Support Program and conducted by Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University was held in Manavgat/Antalya between November 25 – December 01, 2023.

The Event Coordinator, Associate Professor Dr. Özdemir ŞENTÜRK, a faculty member of our Vocational School, stated that practical training providing scientific contributions was given to 15 participants from various universities and research institutions in our country throughout the training. Providing information about the content of the event titled “Calculation and Mapping of Land Diversity with Entropy-Based Algorithms”, Associate Professor Dr. Özdemir ŞENTÜRK mentioned that as the quantitative ecology team, they have successfully completed numerous scientific events with the contributions of valuable academicians from different universities for many years, and thanked TÜBİTAK, all contributing academicians, and participants, especially the Rectorate of our University, for their support to our events.

The training, which included valuable academicians from Isparta University of Applied Sciences, Hacettepe University, Süleyman Demirel University, and Akdeniz University, ended with the presentation of participation certificates to the participants.
