Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) Rector Prof. Dr. Adem Korkmaz’s tea chats with students this week took place at Gölhisar Vocational School.
In the visit accompanied by Rector Advisor Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Mustafa Kılınç, Rector Prof. Dr. Adem Korkmaz was welcomed by Gölhisar MYO Director Dr. Öğr. Üyesi İhsan Aşık, Deputy Director Öğr. Gör. Murat Ertilav, Gölhisar Health Services Vocational School Director Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Nazife Bakır, Deputy Director Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Hakan Tekeli, Gölhisar Applied Sciences School Director Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Ersan Okatan and faculty members.
Meeting with students at a different cafeteria each week, Rector Korkmaz this week met with students from Gölhisar Vocational School, Gölhisar Health Services Vocational School, and Gölhisar Applied Sciences School. He listened to the students' requests and their expectations regarding their university. Saying, “Meeting with our students in a different department, a different campus, a different district every week makes us happy,” Rector Korkmaz thanked the students for their warm conversations.
Expressing their satisfaction with Rector Prof. Dr. Adem Korkmaz chatting with them and listening to their requests, the students stated that the meetings were especially nice for students in the districts and that they were very pleased to have the opportunity to meet and chat with their Rector professor in person.
