2024-2025 Academic Year SUMMER Internship Procedures Regarding

Students who want to do a Summer Internship for 2024-2025;

YOU CAN REACH THE EMPLOYER THROUGH THE NATIONAL INTERNSHIP PROGRAM.

Our students who will do an internship can benefit from the National Internship Program from the link above.

Students applying through the National Internship Program must follow the steps below.

• After the ‘Internship Application Form’ is submitted for approval by the advisor professors, it must be signed by the workplace. (You can get approval from your advisor professors face-to-face or via email.) Along with the approved ‘Internship Application Form’, the student must also submit the MÜSTAHAKLIK document obtained from E-Government.
• Students who cannot apply in person; will send the workplace stamped-signed application form, advisor faculty member approval (approval letter received via email) in a sealed envelope to Gölhisar MYO Department Secretariat (Room 315) by cargo until June 20, 2025.
•  Delays in cargo are the responsibility of the student. Late documents will not be accepted. Internships cannot be conducted outside the dates deemed appropriate by the School Administration.

Internship Application Conditions:

ACCORDING TO BURDUR MEHMET AKİF ERSOY UNIVERSITY VOCATIONAL SCHOOLS INTERNSHIP DIRECTIVE;

• Students who will do an internship at the end of the 2nd year must have taken all four-semester courses at least once and fulfilled the attendance requirement (not having failed the course with a DZ grade).

You may have failed courses from previous semesters, but students who have failed a course with a DZ grade cannot apply.

Note: Students who do not submit the Internship Application Form to our Vocational School (wet signed, approved document) are not evaluated. Last Document (Internship Application Form) Submission Date: June 20, 2025. After the evaluation, the acceptance/rejection list will be published on the official website.

*Internship durations are determined as 30 business days.

ABOUT THE SUBMISSION OF THE INTERNSHIP BOOK AFTER THE END OF THE INTERNSHIP

Those who do internships must submit their internship files in person or by cargo within 7 business days at the latest from the end date of the internship. Delays due to cargo are the responsibility of the student. Students who do not submit their internship file on time will be considered unsuccessful in their internship.
