School Forestry Department in cooperation, under the coordination of Department Head Assoc. Dr. Özdemir
ŞENTÜRK, within the scope of the Vocational Education and Project Management II course,
on June 7, 2023, at 08:15, at Asmalı Forest Management Chief and at 13:45
Field Application was carried out at Gölhisar Depot Chief.
In the first part of the field
application, students were informed and applied about stamp types and standing stamp application, tree
felling, branch cleaning, bark peeling, length measurement and volume measurement applications, stand
maps, the contents of management and silviculture plans by Asmalı Forest Management Chief Fevzi TÜRK and his team.
In the second part, at Gölhisar Depot Chief, by Deputy Operations Manager Tahir YANGIN
and Forest Protection Officer Hüseyin AKALIN applications were made on the preparation of dispatch and transport slips,
wood standards and quality classes, and the preparation of stacks.
