The Future of Software and Artificial Intelligence Technology Discussed at the Online Conference

Faculty of Engineering Department of Computer Engineering Computer Software Department by Prof. Dr. Ecir Uğur KÜÇÜKSİLLE conducted a conference on “The Importance and Future of Software, Artificial Intelligence Technology”.

In the conference where the importance of software in the world and in our country was mentioned, the participants who want to be experts in this field were informed about the software technologies that will be encountered in the future. Mentioning the Artificial Intelligence technologies that we will encounter more in the future and what needs to be done in this field, KÜÇÜKSİLLE stated that artificial intelligence technology will become even more important in the coming years and that what can be done with this technology can benefit humanity on the one hand and bring security problems on the other hand. He mentioned that students should have knowledge in every field throughout their education life, but it is important for them to develop themselves more and become experts in a field they are interested in.

In the conference, which continued in the form of an interview with graduate students, Yunus Emre ALBAYRAK, a 2021 graduate of the Computer Technologies Department Internet and Network technologies program; He stated that his education life contributed a lot to him and that he constantly improved himself after school. After talking about the situations he encountered during the job entry stages, he explained which software he used in his business life, which programming languages he learned, and the work he did. Albayrak, who works as a Backend Developer in an international company, talked about his experiences and then mentioned his future goals and emphasized to our students that they should pursue their dreams.

Ramazan YAVUZ, a 2022 graduate of the Computer Technologies Department Internet and Network technologies program; He mentioned that he turned to the field of Graphic Design thanks to the courses he took at school, and that he both improved himself and earned his pocket money by working as a freelancer during his student years. He stated that he is currently working as a Graphic Designer for an energy company operating in Germany using the remote work method. He stated that those who improve themselves in this field have a high chance of finding a job and earning money.

With the conference, which lasted approximately 3 hours and was very beneficial, our students both gained knowledge in their field and learned about the paths taken by graduate students who studied the same department as them before entering the job.
